DOGS AND SMOKING

St Teath AFC is a dog free & smoking free (including vaping) site. Please help us maintain our hire agreement by adhering to these rules.

PARENTS/FAMILY MEMEBERS

Those bringing players to training/matches, we require you to remain onsite whilst your child enjoys their session. You simply never know when they'll decide they want to finish early or need you. You'll also be helping us meet our welfare & safeguarding requirements.

Please remember to read our matchday policies to help us maintain our fun positive environment each week.

HOW IS THE CLUB RUN?

Entirely by volunteers. Yep, ST TEATH AFC is run ENTIRELY by volunteers from the top down: the club committee, all our league teams, OUR VOLUNTEERS are the heart of the club’s development, growth & success & is led by FA qualified coaches, 1st Aid trained with DBS & child safeguarding in place, assisted by fantastic volunteers. Many of the FA coaches you see on the sidelines are also on the committee.

CAN ANYONE JOIN?

YES!!!  We welcome all children to our youth section, we unfortunately can't guarantee you will be put straight into a team but we encourage everyone to come along to training.

Please visit our play for St Teath page to sign up!

MY CHILD IS IN THE TEAM - HOW DO I KNOW WHEN MATCHES ARE?

Each team has a group chat run by the coaches, this could be via whatsapp or messenger. Please speak to the coach to be added. We also use the FA Matchday app but please ignore the times shown as these are not always correct.

YOU DON'T HAVE A TEAM FOR MY CHILD

Please speak to our committee on how we can help you start a team.

The success and longevity of our club is down to our wonderful volunteers. Football skills/knowledge is NOT essential; your willingness to give up a few hours a week would mean the world to our future football stars!

We're a friendly bunch; come and say hello!

MEDS & ADDITIONAL PLAYER LEARNING/BEHAVIOUAL NEEDS.

Please speak to our coaches (discreetly if you wish) if your child has medical needs, e.g., asthma inhaler, or learning/behaviour needs, e.g. hearing/vision impairments, difficulty in following more than one instruction.

This will help us adjust instructions to meet the needs of our young players & ensure they have a good time.

PAYING FEES

We charge a one annual fee to cover training & club running costs throughout the year, payment via bank transfer is preferred but cash is fine in a named envelope.

Please use the player’s surname and age group(s) as a reference or payment will not be recorded. Example payment reference 1 or 2 players: SMITHU7 orSMITHU7U11
